He moved in next door.
Handsome as sin, older in a way that meant forbidden.
He had tattoos on his hands and wickedness tucked in his grin.
I was a goner as girl to a man they called Casanova for a reason. He would never love me, at least not the way I needed him to.
I tried to move on. But I couldn’t turn my back on him or The Fallen MC.
So when they needed me most, I offered the only thing of value I could use to help them.
And when helping them meant putting my life on the line, Nova had to decide just how much he was willing to do to get me out alive.
inked in lies
by giana darling
Inked in Lies was a phenomenally breathtaking age gap romance that had me on edge with all those insanely addictive angsty moments between Jonathan "Casa(NOVA)" Booth and Lila Meadows. Giana Darling has once again managed to capture my full attention as I found myself deeply lost in the world of the Fallen Men. Ever since she FINALLY announced the couple of this book I have been eagerly waiting in anticipation to see how their journey to happily ever after would unfold AND let's just say she exceeded every one of my expectations because I knew these two had a complicated past and they had a LOT of issues to overcome.
Nova and Lila's story might be Giana Darling's best book in this series, besides "Daddy" Zeus Garro and Lou "Lafayette" Garro's (OBVIOUSLY)! Actually scratch that because ALL of the books in The Fallen Men series are beyond extraordinary and truthfully they stand completely on their own. I just don't think it's possible to pick just one as my favorites, especially since I feel like I freaking LOVE them all in equal amounts!
I was beyond obsessed with Nova and Lila's forbidden romance and I adored how the author showed us all of their flaws and insecurities because it made them seem so real. We got to see that RAW side of a relationship as two souls struggle to fight their way towards each other. It was a beautiful moment when Nova FINALLY admitted his feelings for Lila because COME ON he so totally loved her, even if he tried to push her away time and time again. Their chemistry was EVERYTHING and I am so thrilled with the outcome! Readers are going to fall head over heels in love with these two...TRUST ME!
