When I agreed to be his roommate, I had no way of knowing that Cole Anderson was one of my father’s star players.

Having transferred to Aldridge University for my junior year, I wasn’t familiar with anyone on campus.

If there’s one rule I’ve always been supposed to follow it’s don’t date a basketball player.

Cole is different, though, and I don’t want to stay away.

But when he finds out I’m the coach’s daughter I might not have any say in the matter.

Nice Guys Don't Win by Micalea Smeltzer is a brilliantly captivating roommates with benefits romance with a sexy hero that will steal every inch of your soul. Cole and Zoey's journey was a beautifully heartwarming and slow burn romance that will leave your heart swooning while devouring their story. These two had the undeniable chemistry right from the very beginning, but of course neither one of them wanted to give into it because of their past failed relationships. However, once the attraction took completely over, there was no stopping these two from falling head over heels in love.

Cole is the sweetest and swooniest (yes I am making that a word) hero that I have read in awhile. The moment we first met him in Bad Boys Break Hearts I wanted his story because he is one of those characters that you can help but fall in love with. He is such a caring man with a heart of gold that will do anything to help the ones he cares about. I mean he puts up with Teddy (who is the biggest man child...but I have to say I freaking love him too and I cannot wait to get my hands on his story) and his crazy antics.

Zoey is suffering from a broken heart after discovering her now ex-fiancé and ex-best friend cheating on her. After transferring to Aldridge University for a fresh start, she soon discovers that she has nowhere to live. But lucky for her, she might have just found a solution, even if it means moving in with a complete strange...who happens to be one of the sexiest men on campus, oh and who also happens to be the star player on the basketball team (the team her father happens to coach).

Let's just say things are about to get interesting... Micalea Smeltzer is a phenomenal storyteller and her characters ALWAYS manage to captivate me. Her newest release is no exception and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this interconnected standalone series, The Boys!
