Hotshot hockey star Patrick Graham has been groomed for the pros since before he could walk. Fast forward to his junior year of college, and he’s having the time of his life. What could be better than pucks, partying, and having his pick of campus women? But if Patrick doesn’t buckle down and get his grades up, he could find himself benched for the championships. Could a beautiful brainiac be the solution to his problems?

Nineteen-year-old Master’s student Ellie McGinn could do so many things with her biology degree, but her mother is pushing her toward a future she doesn't want. Tutoring a hockey hottie seems like the perfect opportunity to start making her own choices and living life on her own terms.

When learning turns to yearning, will they be ready to face the heat and heartache that love can bring?

Overtime by Kat Mizera is the fifth interconnected standalone in the MOO U series (connected to Sarina Bowen's World of True North universe) and I freaking adored Patrick Graham's story. Just when I thought no one could beat Paxton Graham, his twin brother Patrick swoops in and steals every inch of my soul. This insta-love romance full of angst will be pulling on all of your heartstrings as you devour this love story about unlikely match between a hockey superstar and nerdy graduate student.

Patrick Graham is used to getting what he wants, but suddenly his future is at risk when his grades slip and he's forced to get a tutor. Luck is on his side when, Ellie McGinn, a friend of his brother agrees to tutor him. Sparks instantly begin to fly between Patrick and Ellie and their chemistry is intensely heartwarming. I absolutely adored these two and the angst that surrounds them throughout their story. They were on an emotional rollercoaster that had me completely consumed.

This story was one of my favorite in the MOO U series and it also happened to introduce me to another new-to-me author. I adore a great hockey romance and the author, Kat Mizera, did an extraordinary job with her writing and storytelling ability! I will certainly be reading more books from her!
